Clear terms

Before the first step.

Policy drafts for review. Each project agreement defines its scope, timeline and payments. These drafts are not legal advice.

Privacy policy

Who this notice covers

This draft describes this Lazoni preview and proposed enquiry handling. The legal identity and address of the data controller must be confirmed before publication. Privacy and deletion requests can be sent to lazoni.business@gmail.com.

Information and purposes

This preview contains no enquiry form, customer account, checkout or analytics. If you choose to contact Lazoni by email or WhatsApp, your contact details, messages and project information may be used to respond, prepare a quote and manage an agreed project. Provide only information needed for your enquiry; do not send passwords or sensitive personal data.

The proposed legal bases are steps requested before a contract and performance of that contract, applicable legal record-keeping obligations, and justified legitimate interests such as handling business enquiries and protecting legal claims. Optional marketing would require its own lawful basis and opt-out; no marketing signup is included here.

External services

The preview loads fonts from Google Fonts and the visual library from jsDelivr. These providers receive technical connection data such as your IP address and browser details when resources load. Email, WhatsApp, Instagram and portfolio websites are external destinations, not embedded tracking tools. Opening them subjects your visit to their own notices. The complete public portfolio retrieves published project information from Firebase (Google). The separate /owner area retains the existing Firebase authentication system.

Before launch, confirm the hosting provider, processors, international transfers and relevant safeguards. No unverified assurance about their locations or retention is made in this draft.

Retention and your choices

Proposed retention is limited to the enquiry or project purpose, applicable accounting duties and necessary legal claims, followed by deletion or anonymisation. Actual retention periods and provider logs must be confirmed before this policy becomes final.

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing; you may withdraw consent for consent-based processing. Some records may have to be retained by law. You may complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD, or your competent authority. No automated eligibility decisions are made by this preview.

Cookie policy

What this preview uses

The page itself does not set cookies, use local or session storage, or load analytics, advertising pixels, chat widgets or third-party embeds. Language and interface choices are held only in page memory and reset on reload. The separate private owner area uses the existing session-based Firebase authentication. Public portfolio browsing does not require signing in.

External resources and links

Google Fonts and jsDelivr deliver static resources and receive normal connection information. External websites opened through links, including the existing Lazoni owner-access area, may use their own cookies. Their policies apply to those visits.

Before publication or new tracking

Audit the final site's cookies and storage again before launch. If non-essential tracking is introduced, obtain valid consent before loading it where required, offer an equally usable rejection choice, and allow withdrawal. Do not add a decorative consent banner or claim the live site is cookie-free based on this preview. CNPD cookie guidance.

Terms of service

A clear written agreement

These are proposed service terms, not an active contract. Browsing the preview or sending an enquiry does not place an order. Before work begins, Lazoni and the client must approve a written quote identifying the contracting parties, deliverables, milestones, languages, content responsibilities, included revision rounds, acceptance process, payment schedule, taxes and any third-party or recurring costs.

Approvals and cooperation

Written approval confirms the agreed scope and authorises the corresponding work. The client supplies accurate content and material they are entitled to use, and gives consolidated feedback at the agreed stages. Changes to an approved direction or scope require written agreement on any additional fee and revised delivery date. Delays caused by missing content or feedback are discussed and documented.

Ownership and external services

The project agreement must identify which bespoke deliverables are transferred or licensed, when this occurs, and any payment conditions. Third-party fonts, software, imagery, domains and hosting remain subject to their own licences and charges. Portfolio publication of client work requires the appropriate permission. Ranking, revenue or uninterrupted third-party availability is not guaranteed.

Cancellation and disputes

A change of mind does not erase fees properly earned under the agreed contract. The cancellation and refund policy below explains the proposed settlement process. Nothing excludes mandatory rights, remedies for non-performance or defects, or rights that cannot lawfully be limited. Applicable law and any required complaint or dispute-resolution information must be confirmed for the contracting entity and client jurisdiction before publication.

Cancellation & refunds

Completed work and change of mind

Subject to mandatory law and the signed project agreement, fees earned for conforming work already completed and delivered are not refundable solely because the client changes their mind, no longer needs the website or decides not to use it. This does not remove rights arising from defects, non-delivery or provider breach.

Cancellation during a project

Request cancellation in writing at lazoni.business@gmail.com, identifying the project. Lazoni should provide an itemised account of work actually performed and authorised, non-recoverable third-party costs. A deposit is credited against that amount, not automatically forfeited. Any unearned balance is refunded, and any properly due balance is explained under the agreement and applicable law. “Almost finished” is not, by itself, a reason to keep the full project price.

Consumer withdrawal rights

Where distance-contract consumer rules apply, the statutory withdrawal period is generally 14 days and required pre-contract information and cancellation instructions must be supplied. Starting early requires the customer's express request and the legally required notices in a durable format. A valid withdrawal during performance may permit only a proportionate charge for services already provided, subject to those requirements. Loss of the withdrawal right after full performance requires the applicable prior express consent and acknowledgement; it is not assumed from a general project approval. Other jurisdictions may provide additional mandatory rights.

Defects, refunds and extra work

Refunds or corrective action required by law remain available. Any settlement and refund deadline must comply with applicable law; qualifying EU/Portuguese consumer withdrawal refunds generally must be made within 14 days of notice. New pages, new functionality or other extra requests after completion are quoted separately, with approval before work begins. Correcting an in-scope defect is not automatically a paid change.

Legal reference: Portugal's distance-contract rules. This draft needs review for the actual service agreement and client type.

Revisions, delivery & support

Included revisions

The approved quote specifies the included revision rounds and what they cover. Feedback should be consolidated against that agreed scope. A new design direction after approval, additional pages, new integrations, extra languages or new content requirements may be a change request rather than an included revision.

Acceptance and handover

The written agreement sets a reasonable review window and objective acceptance criteria. The client can report in-scope defects for correction. Acceptance and completion are recorded in writing; silence alone should not be treated as a blanket waiver of rights. Handover identifies the files, credentials transferred securely, agreed access, third-party accounts and responsibilities.

After completion

Extra edits, content updates, new features and ongoing maintenance are separately scoped and charged only after the client approves the quote. No recurring support fee starts automatically from browsing this page. Any support term, response target, hosting renewal or maintenance plan must be agreed explicitly. In-scope defects and statutory remedies remain separate from paid enhancements.

Before publishing: confirm the legal entity, address, tax identity, privacy contact, processors, data retention and any required complaint/dispute-resolution information.
